Animal Research in Arts

ANIMAL RESEARCH

We are going to create a poster or piece of work about an animal you choose in the Arts class. You will need to look for some information at home and bring it to the class where we will give you cardboard, colour paper, paint or whatever you need for your creation.

Your final work must include:

1. The name of your animal and a picture or drawing of it, as well as your name and class.
2. Physical characteristics of the animal
3. The place where it lives and the habitat (you can include a map of the world to show it better)
4. What it eats (is it a carnivore, herbivore or an omnivore?)
5. How it reproduces (viviparous or oviparous?)
6. Any curiosities you may find about the animal

REMEMBER!

·  Bring a draft (borrador) to class with the information of your animal.

·  When searching for the information, read it and write it IN YOUR OWN WORDS, it doesn’t matter if you have some mistakes!

·  Check the Tricky Words.

·  You can write short paragraphs with the different information. If the paragraph has lots of sentences, use the “tell me more” words (also, apart from that, moreover, furthermore, finally).
